How your flight day works

  1. 01

    Book, then send your weights

Pick a date online or just ask us. We need each passenger's name, nationality and weight to plan the load.

  2. 02

    An early pickup

We collect you from your hotel around 6:00 because mountain air is clearest in the first hours of light.

  3. 03

    Land, gaze, fly back

One or two landings with the big view, often breakfast at a mountain lodge, then back at your hotel before lunch.

Before you book

All questions
Where do your flights start?

Most tours start from Kathmandu's domestic terminal, and we pick you up from your hotel. The Annapurna Base Camp tour starts in Pokhara, and charters can start anywhere a helicopter can land.

How many people fit in a helicopter?

Up to five passengers. Up at the highest landings, Kala Patthar for one, the thin air means a helicopter can't lift as many, so a full group may be landed in two short lifts.

Is there an age limit?

No. Children and older travellers fly with us often. If you have a heart or lung condition, or you're travelling with a baby, choose a route with a lower landing and let us know when you book.

What if the weather is bad?

The pilot decides whether it's safe to fly. If we can't fly, you choose another date or a full refund. That's why we suggest keeping at least one spare day after your flight.

Why do you ask for our weights?

Helicopters in the mountains are loaded by weight, not by seats, and the higher you land, the lower the limit. Rest assured, we only use your weights to plan the load safely.

Looking for a route that isn't here?

Pilgrimages, transfers, trek pickups, filming, or even a proposal on a mountain ridge: just tell us where and when, and we'll plan a private charter for you.
