Booking terms

These terms apply to helicopter tours, heli treks and charters booked with Charter Nepal, either on charternepal.com or by email.

Booking

You can reserve online, or write to us first and we'll hold the date while we confirm the details. Your booking is confirmed once you receive our confirmation email with its booking reference. For every flight, we also need each passenger's full name as written in their passport, their nationality and their approximate weight.

Payment

Online bookings are paid by card at checkout. Private charters and heli treks can instead be secured with a 25% payment by bank transfer, with the remainder paid before departure. Any transfer charges are covered by the sender. If we take a card payment for you outside the website, we'll show you any fee before you agree to it.

Weather and safety

Mountain flights depend on the weather. The pilot alone decides whether it is safe to fly, and may delay, shorten or turn back a flight at any time.

• If we cancel before take-off because of the weather or another safety reason, you can choose another day or a full refund.
• If, after take-off, a flight has to turn back before the main landing is reached, you'll be offered a new date, or we'll refund the part of the flight that wasn't flown.

Please keep at least one spare day after your flight date.

Cancellation by you

• Helicopter tours and charters: if you cancel with more than 10 days to go before the flight, we refund 50%. Within 10 days of the flight, or once the flight has started, there is no refund.
• Treks: if you cancel more than 30 days before the start, we keep only the deposit. Between 10 and 30 days before, you receive a 50% refund. Within 10 days, or once the trek has started, there is no refund.

Changes

If you'd like a different date, please ask at least 3 days ahead for a flight, or 14 days ahead for a trek, and we'll do our best to move it. The price may change with the new date.

Shared flights

A shared flight goes ahead once enough passengers have booked. If it doesn't fill, we'll offer you another date, an upgrade to a private flight for the difference in price, or a full refund.

Your responsibilities

Please let us know about any medical condition that altitude could affect, and always do as the pilot and crew instruct. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers helicopter flights, trekking to the height of your trip, and evacuation.
