Private Helicopter Charter in Nepal
Beyond the set tours: a helicopter for your own route, your own day and your own reason. Here's how it works and what to tell us.

Our tours cover the routes most people ask for. A charter covers everything else: a helicopter booked for your own route, on your own day.
We arrange charters with licensed Nepali helicopter operators. You simply tell us where and when, and we'll find the right aircraft, plan the fuel and landings, handle the permits and give you one price.
What people charter helicopters for
- **Transfers:** Kathmandu to Pokhara, Lukla, Jomsom or Bharatpur, without the road or the queue for a plane.
- **Trek pickups and drop-offs:** start or finish a trek in a valley that has no airstrip.
- **Pilgrimages:** Muktinath, Gosaikunda, Pathibhara, Halesi and other temples that take days to reach on foot.
- **Weddings, birthdays and proposals** on a mountain ridge (it's hard to say no up there).
- **Filming, photography and survey work**, with doors-off flights where the operator allows it.
- **Moving supplies** to remote villages, schools and lodges.
How charter pricing works
Helicopters are priced by flying time, counted from where the aircraft is based (usually Kathmandu or Pokhara) and back again. Your price depends on:
- the total flying time, including getting the helicopter to your start point;
- the landings, and any waiting time on the ground;
- fuel stops on long routes;
- permits for restricted areas such as Upper Mustang or Manaslu.
A helicopter carries up to five passengers, but at high landings it can safely lift less. That's why we plan the load for the highest point of your route.
What to send us
- Where you'd like to start, land and finish
- Your date, and whether it can move by a day
- The number of passengers and their approximate weights
- Any luggage or cargo
- Anything special: a pilgrimage, filming or an event
Send it all through the contact form or email [email protected], and we'll reply with a route plan and a price.

How far ahead should I book a charter?
For most routes, a few days is plenty. Restricted areas need about a week for permits, and October and November book up early, so it's best to get in touch sooner for those.
Can a helicopter land anywhere?
Not quite anywhere. It needs a flat, clear landing spot, and some areas need government approval too. Just tell us where you'd like to land and we'll check it with the operator.
Can I charter a helicopter for one way only?
Yes, although you'll usually pay for the helicopter's return to base as well, unless we can combine it with another flight.
